Prerequisite: AG126 (Principles of Livestock Nutrition) or instructor's permission. This course will enable the student to formulate diets for the various classes and species of farm livestock is covered in this course. Equal class time is devoted to ruminant and monogastric species. Special emphasis is given to anatomical and physiological differences as they affect the use of particular feedstuffs for each species.
